Golden Needle - Dian Hong, a variety that is processed in many qualities in Yunnan China. The robust, long needles are sorted by hand. Only the most beautiful silver tips were harvested here. The young white tea is then gently oxidized to black tea. The cup amazes us with a truly golden shimmer. This comes from the fine golden hairs that come off when brewed. The taste is honey-like, shimmering, like bees buzzing through a dry coniferous forest.
