The name 'Yashi Xiang' (鸭屎香), which literally translates to 'duck poo aroma,' originates from a story about an old man from Chaozhou who introduced this tea from Wudong and planted it in tea gardens with 'duck manure soil,' referring to yellow soil. After tasting the tea, locals praised it as high-quality and inquired about its variety and aroma. However, concerned about the theft of his tea plants, the tea farmer downplayed the tea’s appeal by calling it 'duck poo aroma.'
Fortunately, our Yashi Xiang does not taste like duck manure. Instead, it evokes the delicate fragrance of magnolia blossoms. A gentle dance of white flowers begins on the tongue and delights all taste buds with a subtle hint of clear bitterness. 90°C 45sec 15sec 30sec.
